What is the Lock50 tool used for?

programming, RFA module management, and more.

What vehicles are compatible with Lock50?

Lock50 supports a wide range of Jaguar and Land Rover models manufactured between 2017 and 2024+. Compatibility includes both locked and unlocked modules depending on your package and license level.

What’s the difference between PAYG, Unlocked, and Master tools?

PAYG (Pay-As-You-Go): Ideal for occasional use. Pay per job or license function.

Unlocked: Offers more flexibility with no per-job payments.

Master: Full access to all available functions, including RFA programming and SW28 licence capabilities.

What does the SW28 Licence do?

SW28 enables full RFA programming via OBD, removing the
need to open, solder, or replace the BCM (Body Control Module). This significantly speeds up jobs and reduces risk.

Can I add the SW28 Licence later?

Yes. You can add the SW28 licence either at the time of purchase
or later on as:

  • A PAYG activation,

or

  • A permanent upgrade to
    your existing tool.
Do I need to remove the BCM to program RFA modules?

Not if you have the SW28 licence activated. With SW28,
RFA programming is done completely via OBD, making the process safer and more efficient.
