The immobiliser receiver mounts around the ignition barrel and communicates directly with the vehicle’s immobiliser system. Featuring a 4-pin connector, it is manufactured to OEM specification and is suitable for professional auto locksmiths and vehicle repair specialists.

What This Part Does
The steering transceiver coil reads the transponder chip inside the vehicle key when it is inserted into the ignition and sends this information to the immobiliser control unit. If the correct signal is received, the immobiliser is disengaged and the engine is allowed to start.
A faulty transceiver coil can cause:

- Immobiliser warning light
- Keys not being recognised
